You were sorta punk rock, I grew up on hip hop

So stressed with uni work at the moment- just one more intense week until my main module is due in - ew!
I helped out my housemate Rosie with her fashion/textile portfolio work the other day. Rosie’s live project in industry was to design a wellie print. As the genius she is, as no one came up with this idea in her class, was to put together a lookbook. The theme for the lookbook was a music festival- so as the kind, amazing friend I am- of course, I raided my wardrobe and stood in the cold for her. The main idea was to Photoshop the prints onto the wellies after.
Pure dedication to my friend as 1. It was freeeeezing, 2. The field (known as “the racecourse”) had about 6 football matches on at the same time- embarrassing and 3. You can find some odd things in that grass, which I happily rolled around in!
Here are some cheeky snaps from the shoot.

Lovin’ all this Playfulness

Don’t you just love writing a massive piece and then your laptop crashes… AND YOU LOOSE WHAT YOU JUST PRODUCED!!!… yes that just happened- waaa feel sorry for me- so I will try again, Take two:
I just cant get enough of the Spring/Summer 12 trends at the moment. I love all the references to childhood, ice cream colours and girly glamour. Recently I went to London to research for some store reports- yawn, but when I got there I was just so overwhelmed with all the shop window displays. Everything was so playfully displayed with circus themes, pastel coloured wigs and Giant ice creams (if only they were real!). I was nice to see that all the stores from high street (Topshop) to the high end designers (Louis Vuitton) joining in with this display theme.
So anyway, I thought I would post some of my cute head pieces which are quite girly- referring to the recent trends. I wish I could wear some all the time- but I literally feel like my head will POP if they are on too long- things we do for fashion!

Show ya Mo’

Gosh, what a week it has been! I literally have been so stressed over university work- anticipation for my blaaaady grades- so far so good, pretty chuffed with myself on the feedback I have recently received. I can now just chill out… NOT.
We have started a whole new live module which is quite important- so today I had to drag myself out of my toasty warm bed to get my tired arse down in London. This was for a whole day of store reports and V&A fashion archive exploration.
Store reports- successful, V&A fashion archive- unsuccessful- blugghh. The museum have decided to referb the section with all the clothes so it is shut down at the moment- great- NOT. So me and my pal Rosie decided to check out the gift shop for some post card inspo for our work- forget the post cards I FOUND A LEATHER MOUSTACHE. You may think I have gone a little crazy but I’m slightly obsessed with moustaches- anything with them on- jewellery, T-shirts, mugs- you name it- weirdly not so keen on the real thing, seriously boys shave that thing off!
Anyway thought I would just step away from my uni work for tonight and show you my Mo’!

Tis the 21st Season!

This year me and most of my friends are starting to turn 21… I love all the celebrations happening all at once in one big chunk, I love the constant outfit and present planning- gosh its all just so overwhelming.
So last night was my course mate Hannah’s 21st, I decided to not wear a black dress because as we all know I’m sick of this cold dingy weather…

Christmas goodbyes

Wow, how fast did Christmas go? I literally feel like it lasted for a few hours, suppose its only 361 days until next Christmas- yes I’m sad!
So anyway after the wonderful celebrations, alcohol guzzling and “Man v Food” consumption I’m ready to do some (dare I say) Uni work! But before I start posting some of my work up (well decide to do some to then actually have something to blog about) I thought I would do an outfit post… Boxing day I hit the sales with my brother (tradition me and him have going every year) and spend all our Christmas cash- Yes I had all my vouchers and money for less than 24 hours and it was all spent on the trip, what can I say a girl likes to spend! I’m a quick thinker when it comes to shopping, especially when there's sales. I literally spend 10 minutes in a shop and walk out with 5 different item- there is no faffing about when Miss Eastwood purchases- some may say problem, I say hobby.
Anyway I bought some beautiful shoes from Topshop in the sale reduced from £68-35- absolutely wonderful bargain! I decided to wear them when we had family over to show them off, I didn’t actually have this hat on but thought I would show it off because I think it’s cute and my mum bought me it in the sales.

How cute are the shoes? I always think a bar across gives you that little extra support to help your feet last that little bit more on the dance floor.

Good Luck hitting the sales girls, beware of the pushers and ridiculous queues!
