Motivation for Shape Manipulation

On Monday I was told to bring to class- two extra large white shirts, pins and a camera. We had to use the two white shirts on the mannequin to produce different shapes without unpicking the shirt- only using pins. I had absolutely no motivation to do this as I was tired from the clothes show. However, when I got into it I really enjoyed the process and came out with some ok shapes. It was great practice to get new ideas on shapes from fabric that already have seams and buttons.
